Hostel Overview

Boras carries on the tradition through the many mailorder-companies and Knalleland. But Boras is also a place of dramatic scenery and rich cultural heritage.

The hostel belongs to a large campsite where you can rent boats, canoes and pedal boats. Adjacent to the hostel are also hiking trails, jogging tracks and swimming opportunities in both the lake and swimming pool. Borås Zoo is also nearby, and is one of the most famous Zoo´s of Sweden. There are excellent opportunities to fish in Viskan which runs through the area.

The surrounding area is rich in cultural history and Sundholmen Castle Ruin and Torpa Stenhus are popular destinations. Both are medieval castles with interesting history. The area has been settled since the Stone Age. In Borås vicinity are numerous nature reserves and recreation areas with excellent trails and paths, breathtaking cliffs and breathtaking views.
