I was disappointed that the internet access promised in the description of the hostel was not available and that there were no laundry facliities.

An excellent stay at Sete. Friendly staff and a far better breakfast than we'd have expected. A stiff climb out of the town but with the bonus of excellent views and only a short walk up to the Panorama viewpoint.

The location is nice but the working hours of the hostel are odd. The hostel is closed form 12pm to 6pm wich i found very inconvenient. When hostel is closed there is not access to WC no place to live your laggage, no one to ask fo information. I arrived at hostel at 2 pm and had to wait util 6 since I did not have were to live my luggage.Besides hostel is on the hill and once you climb up you do not feel leaving with your laggage again. Besides train station does not have luggage locekers, so you really need to plan to come during the hours the hostel is open. There is no interent in the hostel, but the staff is willing to help you with imformation. This is good place just if you are planing to stay longer than 2 days. Otherwise it is a hassle.I was staying there just one day, and I lost it waiting for reception to open sicne I did not have place to live my luggage.

the reception is closed from 12PM to 6PM but not the youth hostel( it's write on the site you made your reservation) You have access to your room ( and WC) 24h/24h. For the luggage, you can ask to cleaning ladies, they are working from 12PM to 5PM and have the key for the luggage room

Fantastic location, right on the hilltop. Cheap wine and excellently cooked food (and plenty of it). Sit back with a chilled Rose, and watch the sun set over the town. Just lovely. One thing - if you can avoid it, don't bring a car. Sete is a pain to drive around: small, narrow, congested - you get the drill.

A lovely place to stay - good and cheap food available, with amazing views over Sete. Clean, friendly. Further from the train station than advertised.

on the HI international internet page should be mentioned that the first entance and parking for cars is on rue de Belfort.

We loved this Hostel. It is located on a pretty steep hill but it is well worth it for the view from the rooms. The rooms are little apartments with quaint green shutters on the small balconies which overlook Sete- very pretty.
