The staff are what make the place and the staff here are great. ( Goncalez ) he is a different story (joke) Jamilly & Deborah very nice and alsways helped me out. I stayed at this place 2 years ago and the staff remembered me as soon as they saw me.Muito Obrigado Peter.

It was not exactly clear what "deposito" is meant to be. The staff thought is was a "fee" because the reservation was made over the internet. I had to cancel two days (from 3) because I could not get a busticket and did this one week before by sending them an email, which did not arrive. Later it appeared they had another emailadress, which had not appeared on my confirmation.. But anyway I liked the place also because it is located near may bars and restaurants at walking distance and friendly staff.

The deposit you had paid for the 3 nigths went to the hi hostels.com , this payment do not come to the hostel, to cancel it, it has to be done straight at the website, so maybe you can get your money back.
The hostel has no responsibility of giving back that deposit, as we do not receive it, that’s why we didn’t give you back the amount paid for the booking; If you still have any questions about it, get in contact with the website hi hostels.com, where you had made your booking, so they can advise you better for future bookings. -

Another pleasent stay at Sampa Hostel.. Excellent location in cousy Vila Madalena. Great & friendly staff as well as travellers. Great hostel to meet new friends. Will return many times.

Great and friendly staff, I have stayed here before and will be returning again. Why I will be returning is mainly because of the friendly staff. Perfect place to get new friends and connections when you arrive in a new city. Excellent location in charming Vila Madalena - the place to be in Sao Paulo. /Swede

Sampa Hostel is a place in the heart of São Paulo, at Vila Madalena, a charmy, cosy and fancy region of São Paulo full of bars, restaurants, discos, art galeries, and much more, and all of it very near from the subway station. Sampa Hostel stays in a big house with 300m2, cosy and with large entertainement area. Large rooms, airy and lighting separated for males and females, connfortable beds and also large and private bathrooms.Important Information: - Check in: 1pm (you can arrive earlier and stay at the hostel or keep your bags in our luggage, but the room is available only after 1pm) - Check out: 12pm - Reception 24 hours with bilingual staff - Daily cleaning of suites - We accept credit and debit cards VISA and MASTERCARD - You can have discounts with the Hostelling International Card

| Bus: | # From Tietê, Barra Funda or Jabaquara Bus Terminals 1) All the bus terminal in Sao Paulo are inside the metro Station with the same name. So, you can arrive by bus and then take the subway until Vila Madalena Station (green line). If you came from Barra Funda you have to change the line twice befora arrive at Vila Madalena. First on Se, take the blue line Jabaquara direction and then at Paraiso take the blue line Vila Madalena direction. If you came from Tiete or Jabaquara you have to change the line only at Paraiso. 1) We offer TRANSFER IN from all the Bus Station Tiete or Barra Funda: R$60,00 Jabaquara: R$80,00 Price per car, not per person (until 3 people). Please send an email at least 24 horas before you arrive to book it. It's not a taxi, it's a driver from the hostel. |
| Metro: | # From Vila Madalena Subway Station (green line) The Vila Madalena Subway Station is near the Sampa Hostel (about six blocks, 15 minuts) and the easiest way to get there. Arriving at Vila Madalena Station, you can walk until the Hostel (about six blocks) or take a taxi, will be around R$10,00. Walking: Take the Rua Marinho Falcão in front of the Subway Station Exit, cross the Rua Paulistania and go straight the stairs until Rua Harmonia. Turn left in Rua Harmonia and walk until the Rua Rodésia when you have to turn right and then on the left on Rua Girassol. # From Bus You can look all the options to get to the Sampa Hostel by bus in the website: www.googlemaps.com there you can check the distancies and how to get to the hostel |

| Airport: | 222# From Guarulhos Airport 1) We offer TRANSFER IN for R$110,00 (price per car, not per person, until 3 people). Please send an email at least 24 hours before you arrive to book it. It's not a taxi, it's a driver from the hostel. 2) Urban Bus: Take the bus Airport Bus Service until the Tatuapé Station (the price is around R$4,30). From there you need to take the subway until Vila Madalena Station (green line). You have to change the line twice befora arrive at Vila Madalena. First on Se, take the blue line Jabaquara direction and then at Paraiso take the blue line Vila Madalena direction. 3) Executive Bus: Airport bus Service (around R$35,00) and leave in one of the stops at suways, such as Republica or Tiete. From there that's the same way than the number 2. 4) Taxi: this is the most expensive way to go to the Hostel, you can take one at the airport. # From Congonhas Airport 1) We offer TRANFERS IN for R$80,00(price per car, not per person, until 3 people). Please send an email at least 24 horas before you arrive to book it. It's not a taxi, it's a driver from the hostel. 2) Bus and Subway: Take the bus São Judas at the Airport (same side of the St). Get off at São Judas Subway Station and follow by subway to Vila Madalena Station (green line). You need to change the line just once, take the blue line Tucuruvi direction and then at Paraiso take the blue line Vila Madalena direction. 3) Taxi: this is the most expensive way to go to the Hostel, you can take one at the airport. |
