I didn't really enjoy my time at Rio Rockers. I stayed there for 4 nights and never got a good night's sleep - the girls 8-bed dorm window is facing a huge roadway tunnel so the traffic noise is extremely loud all through the night. Note: whatever you do, DO NOT WALK THROUGH THE TUNNEL as the padestrian pathway is full of faeces, no joke. The breakfast is pretty lousy and the common area is tiny. At mealtimes sometimes there is no place to sit. On the up side, their kitchen is really clean and they have free internet.

Lockers and shower should be more near from bedrooms. Breakfast really poor, milk was cold everyday and the only fruit its bananas.

es un hostel bien puesto pero muy pequeño para la cantidad de personas que aloja. Los lockers estan muy mal ubicados lejos de las habitaciones.

Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Premium location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Great breakfast and excellent for meeting people.

Tive um sério imprevisto pessoal e fiquei apenas 1 dos 5 dias programados da minha estadia, mas o pessoal do Rio Rockers foi super solícito e atencioso comigo, ajudando-me a resolver alguns problemas de minha volta. O lugar é pequeno, mas acolhedor. A rua é tranquila e dá para caminhar até a praia em pouquíssimos minutos. Aliás, o albeergue é bem localizado mesmo. Com certeza, voltarei a me hospedar lá.

Hostel Overview
The Rio Rockers Hostel was created by carioca locals, young people that also like to travel around with a backpack. It is with the same spirit that we look to promote a cultural exchange with lots of fun in the marvelous city of Rio de Janeiro.Located in the heart of Copacabana, four blocks from the beach, near mountains, shopping, bars, restaurants, movie theaters, clubs, theaters and other attractions of this most carioca and fabulous neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro and just two blocks from the subway as well as having many bus lines going to all areas of the city.
Our house includes comfortable rooms for 2, 6 or 8 people with air-conditioners. We have a totally equipped kitchen, a balcony and a very cozy living space with a bar. All with a very easy going atmosphere.
Rio Rockers Hostel offers different activities and tours for you who do not want to miss out on the best that Rio has to offer, in an inexpensive but fun way.
