23 Oct 2011 Frans, Belgium I cancelled my reservation for staying overnight in Rijeka and I stayed one night longer in the hostel in Pula.

The building was nice and very clean. The breakfast was very disappointing. I was only there one night and discovered I was covered in bites the following day - I have a suspicion that it was bedbugs in the hostel as the bites were all over my shoulders and upper arms.

There is so nice!!!! It's so clean and conveinent place! It's little bit far from the railway station, but It's now far way from the center!!! Receptionists are very kind and wonderful!!

Very short time for breakfast (8am-9am) so room is very crowded-not enough room. Breakfast was very plain. Had to pay for hostelling international card if not a member (not stated on website)so overall cost was a lot more then expected.
Hostel Overview
The hostel is surrounded by a park and a playground. It is very close to beautiful beaches, parks, tennis courts, a volleyball court and a scuba diving club. Near the hostel there are grocery shops, cafes and a newspaper stand as well as a large shopping centre. Local tourist tax not included in the price. | Bus: | The main bus station called Zabica is close to the bus stop for local lines (public transport). The bus stop is on the sea side (take the bus line number 1). Take off at the 5th bus stop. |
| Metro: | The city of Rijeka does not have metro. |
| Parking: | The hostel does not have its own parking but there is a public parking very close to the hostel. It is free of charge. |
| Sea port: | If you will be arriving to Rijeka by boat of ferry, there is a bus stop by the Rijeka harbour. Get off the bus number 1 on the 4th bus stop. |
| Location: | We are located at the eastern part of the city, named Pecine, approximately 1,5 km from the city centre/main bus station for international lines or 2 km from the railway station. |
| Rail: | At the exit of the railway station (on the right side) there is a bus station for the eastern part of the city. Catch the bus line nuber 1. Take off at the 7th bus stop. |
| Airport: | The airport company organizes transport from the airport to the city centre (main bus station Zabica). |
