The cleanliness of the dorm kitchen and bathrooms left a lot to be desired. However, the dorm itself was perfectly acceptable. The apartment building the hostel was in (especially the stairwell) made me feel slightly uncomfortable.
Our family first arrived the hostel on Friday around 11pm. We checked-in straight after a big group of male teenagers. We were given a room on the same floor as them. As we were settling in, the level of noise coming from that group was hell. I was concerned, so I went down to the reception to see if anything can be done. The response I got from the reception was also just amazing. First, he offered us a full-refund option, of course, in case we wanna look for a new place to stay at midnight. Then, when asked if he could just go up and warn those boys, he simply just said there was nothing he could do. So, I gave up and went back to our room. We were then able to get a bit of sleep as those boys were heading for a night out. Later in the night, around 4-5am, they came back, with the noise again. All of us were woken up by their noise. Fortunately, we were tired enough to slept through it.
It would be better to have the possibility to lock the bathroom doors
very good!
good breakfast, not very friendly staff. Bathrooms ok.
Very good hostel in every way. I just did not like to pay twice for the laundry because the guy at the reception forgot that we paid.
Do not stay here. dirt and grim should not be in any hostel like this - unfit for human habitation.
the included meal was past its use by date and the other alternatives to it furthermore tasted like it had also.
I'd generally like to stay in a place where I don't feel the flimsy lockers are going to fall apart when I'm asleep.
Very good hotel.
very good location to reach to the center (walking distance 5min to old town)and easy to find. kindly welcoming. but sorry for no self-cooking facility.
My fourth stay at this hostel. I like the hostel and Prague
