Hostel Overview
Port Elliot Beach House YHA is a stunning historic building renovated into a comfortable, breezy beach house with 270 degree views of the coastline, to be enjoyed all year round.It has a variety of rooms, from shared dorms to double and family rooms, so there is something to suit everyone!
There is also a fantastic self-catering kitchen and spacious lounge and dining areas, which give you plenty of options to unwind and breathe in the sea air.
Port Elliot is a popular seaside town, as well as the whale-watching capital of South Australia! Southern Right Whales move slowly and come very close to shore, often within 100m, offering visitors an intimate experience not to be missed! The Beach House is situated in an outstanding beach-side location, just a short walk across the road to the stunning beaches suitable for surfing, swimming, kayaking, walking or just relaxing.
Spend hours bike riding, exploring the towns of Port Elliot, Middleton, Goolwa & Victor Harbor, try sky diving or ballooning, visit the nearby McLaren Vale wine & produce region, check out the historical walks, restaurants & shops & meet some locals in the pubs!
