It was a breathtakingly beautiful village, with views of volcanic mountains, a seaside walk, and good breakfast buffet. We were very surprised to find that the employees spoke no English (except for the very nice Manager Ted, who greeted us on our second day there). He was very surprised to see us there. Evidently, non-Taiwanese/Chinese visitors are rare. Warning that the bus will drop you off randomly and it was raining when we got there. Be prepared with the name and address of the place written in Chinese.

The centre itself is very interesting and the views from the shore behind it are great. Walking to Kenting beach requires a bit of a detour though. Room was clean.
Hostel Overview
Facing the Bashi Strait, Kenting Youth Activity Center is situated next to the Frog Stone Seashore Park in Kenting.Occupying an area of 25 hectares, Kenting center is composed of 17 traditional Min courtyard architectures. It is a traditional Fujen(a province in southern China, also called Min) style building with red gate, white wall and red tile roof, and is often reputed as the Museum of Southern Min Style Architecture. Because everything you can see is so beautiful, our center is also an excellent place for taking wedding photos. If you like taking pictures , you must come here!
We have over 100 comfortable suites, with a total boarding capacity of up to 400 persons, and would be happy to provide some of the rooms for YH guests, accommodation prices fluctuate with the different dates, but the price includes buffet-style breakfast, sheets and clean private bathroom, we also have rental bike service , coin laundry and Internet at public area.
Our center also owns an auditorium constructed like an ancient private school. The restaurant, serving local specialty cuisine, is another out-of-the-world sight with interior designed like Longmen Inn described in the traditional Chinese chivalry novels.
Kenting Youth Activity Center is in tranquil settings surrounded by natural views like the sky, beaches, and mountains. Upon entering the center garden, visitors will feel like wandering in a paradise with the tropical plants and charming water lilies. Take a walk and enjoy the various tropical plants along the scenic trail to the nearby Frog Stone Seashore Park. The coral reef, various rocks, cliffs, Bashi Strait, Oluanpi Lighthouse, Mao Pi Tou and the beach sunset are all there calling you along the way.
After the sunset, don't miss Kenting's Street Night bazaar, there's are a lot of restaurants and bars, thousands of dazzling souvenirs, BBQs and crazy bands on the street , everything is so fun and unforgettable!
