Better directions on website of how to arrive at HI using public transport. 'system' for use of kitchen is not helpful to travellers

Hard to find, but once you get there the service is first rate. Highly recommended to anyone who might want to visit Perugia.

Very bad service. Together with my Girlfriend booked double room for 2 nights. when we arrived receptionist said that after 1st night we must change the room. We agreed with that. Next morning receptionist started to knock to our room door and said that we must change the room right now. no privacy at all. No sorry no apologise. After that the receptionist said that we have to put our luggages to the storage room until 2pm and wait for another room, because the room its not clean yet. We answered that we cannot wait until 2pm and wee need a room right now. After 1min receptionist said that our room its ready and she gave as key. So we open the room and it was a DORM with 8 beds instead of double room, wich one we booked few weeks ago. Inside of this DORM was very cold and no comfort at all. Terrible service, no communication, no apologize, no sorry. People avoid this hostel!

In those days the hostel housed 2 groups and for this we were unable to give you the same room for the nights required, if you will be grateful to welcome back to our hostel offering the same nights for free. Lovely setting though not close to the centre at all, though there is a metro stop v.close and a bus stop opposite. However, the kitchen was disgusting so steer clear.

We had a good time at Mario Spagnoli. Very nice management, except the breakfast and the food could be much better. I hope they find
