Far from the city center but metro makes it easy to get around at a good price. Nice addition of a bar in the basement but seems odd with so many young children running around. Overall good hostel just out of the main sites and attraction.

You have to ADVERTISE that the 9-bed rooms are mixed-gender. I'm a 19 year old woman, and ended up ALONE in a room with an apparently drunk 50-something year old man at 2AM, without having any idea my dorm wasn't single-sex. That is not safe, and not okay.

When compared with Germany and the UK, food in French hostels is universally subpar (taste, quanity and nutritional value) and D'Artgnan is no exception. For the second time in 7 months, I had to go eat out again after a two course dinner. Breakfast wasn't inspiring either...

this is a huge facility outside central city in a marginally dangerous area. Do not wander around area at night. Make sure you know exact directions to hostel before arriving in town. Nice , helpful folks. Younger clientele.

Staff were brilliant. Thought the dining area needs a revamp. Entrance steps very slippy when wet. Be nice to have brown bread too at breakfast.

Located only 15 minutes by metro from the lively centre of Paris, Le d’Artagnan hostel is in a great location to take in this enchanting city, and is easy to get to, only a few minutes from the Eurolines bus terminal.The facilities in Le d'Artagnan hostel are as impressive as was the musketeer it was named after: free movies in the on-site theatre, internet terminals, cafeteria, laundry, reading room/library and a chill out room with games. There’s also ‘The Dockside’ bar. Bring on the party!
Staying at Le d’Artagnan means the city is yours to discover - the monuments, the Haussmannian boulevards, and the authentic neighbourhoods. It’s also a unique chance to visit the tombs of our favourite celebrities, singers, poets, writers and politicians, in the mythical Père Lachaise Cemetery only steps away.
