very nice place , good location, specialy for Telenor Arena, not too far from city Centre and great breakfast included in price.

Nice hostel, not really clean. The free breakfast is great. I can recomand this hostel to anyone who want's to go on a cheap vacation to Oslo

The definition of a double room is generally a room with a double bed in it, not the case at Oslo Holtekilen. A double room here was actually a room with two single beds in it, known world over (in my experience at least) as a TWIN room. To add to that, when i went to clarify if i had the wrong room we found that the staff had just given another key to our room to someone else! We were moved to a new room, but this had me worrying about security for our entire stay... Also as icing on the cake, we had to pay for sheets (60nok /set which i had to get 2 of), i was told this is standard among hostels of this type, but a warning when i was booking would have helped. Norway is not cheap to stay in at the best of times, but this unexpected extra fee soured my stay further. Bring your own dishes too, the kitchen is very under-resourced.

We were moved to en hotel because our room was rented to someone else. It was OK but we would have prefer to be informed before our arrival.

Only difficulty was understanding how to use the European washers and dryers. Otherwise our stay was excellent.

first my room at the rear building but the key was gone eith another guest and there is only one. building looked very dark smelly. then I schanged to the main building, another problem with the key, anoying when there is only one key for the room. Kitchen was very poorly equiped, and lounge was boring. Breakfast was good. I liked the neighbour though
