Hostel is located a bit far from the center of the city but its stillness is excellent. I've stayed some hostels around pacific and this is the best one I've ever stayed.

The staff is very frienfly, and try to speak english.The manager came to pick me up at the station, ans drop me at the bus stop the next day. The staff prepares delicious diners and breakfasts, at cheap prices,so no need to worry about buying food, and preparing your own meals

Whatever your images of Hokkaido, Tokachi's wide land goes with the best of them. Facing the Pacific Ocean, we are proud of its often dry and clear weather. Especially in winter, just looking up at the clear blue sky would make our hearts clean. While traveling, you may look forward to tasty foods. Toipirka serves healthy meals cooked primarily from regional organic foods. Relax, enjoy the hearty meals and the fresh air of Tokachi! It will be our greatest pleasure.

Bus:	From JR Obihiro station, take a Tokachi Bus for Tokachigawa-onsen for 20min, get off at "Shimo-shihoro-shogakko-mae" (which means "In front of Shimo-shihoro Primary School") and walk 20min (1.7km) to the YH.
