I recommend this hostel very much if you have to spend one night in Moss! We arrived late in the evening, the lady waited for us. We had to leave early in the morning to catch a plane in Rygge, the lady called a taxi for us to go to the airport (the only way to go to the airport in early morning), and she gave us a card to have 10% discount on the taxi service. In the morning, we didn't wake up... and she came to wake us up to take the taxi! We took a double room, it was pretty nice, and the hostel is situated on a small lake, it's a really nice place :)

Wet and cold, the warden helped us with drying etc., and getting our bikes inside.

not a great hostel- was very expensive for what it was. very basic, and no sound insulation whatsoever-i could hear the conversation in the next room. owner wasn't friendly or welcoming in the slightest and i had emailed ahead 2 days in advance asking if they could book my a taxi for the morning i was leaving, got an email back saying it was done.asked when i arrived and it hadn't been done. lucky i reminded them. wouldn't recommend.

Location was beautiful but just a little too far to walk with luggage from the station. Better to take the buss. Staff was very friendly, nice rooms. Town was a bit smelly though...

Not that far from the train station, we could just walk there. We couldn't find it following the map provided on the "Maps & Directions" though.

the hostel smelt of stale cigarettes and was not particularly clean or welcoming - breakfast was extremely poor value

Breakfast was rather of poor quality. Friendliness and tips at the reception very good an helpful.

The hostel is located 10 km from Rygge Airport, at the lake Vansjø. Good conditions for boat trips, canoe safari, fishing, barbecue evenings and swimming. Moss is an old industrial town founded on the old iron works and later the wooden factory. Attractions: Konventionsgården - the main buiding at Moss Iron Works and art galleries.Hostel bed capacity
