VERY poor signage on the street and very minimal directions given. The location is great but the hostel was so hard to find. It would be much better if there was a larger sign on the main street plus a physical description of what stores etc. surround the hostel.

On HI's booking system, I was charged a total of US$26 for the bed I booked (with US$1.30 paid as deposit). But the hostel staff billed me a remainder of 720 rubles (after deducting the 10% deposit). Her billing showed that the total charge for my bed was 800 rubles. I may not be clued in on the exchange rate used, but it didn't seem that the conversion of US$26 should be anywhere close to 800 rubles. Anyway, it was my last day in Moscow and out of courtesy, I paid the remainder of 720 rubles to the hostel. The small 10-bed dorm I stayed in was extremely hot. It will be appreciated if the hostel can at least provide fans for guests staying during summer. To the credit of the hostel staff, she gave me an insect repellant to plug into the socket. I think it helped a little, but still a fan will be greatly appreciated for circulating the summer heat.

Central location, but the hostel is very hard to find on the given address, its hidden in between the streets and shops. The hostel is small and the wash rooms are limited.

Hostel is small,but ok. positive: it has lockers, and sells from water and soda to shampoo. Negative: only two toilets and bathrooms. Not very clean.
