The only thing which spoiled an otherwise excellent stay was the difficulty in finding the hostel.

Our room was uncleaned upon arrival, with old bed linen in the beds and towels on the floor. We cleaned the room ourselves.
Hostel Overview
This hostel is a seasonal hostel, which means it is not open all year and has seasonal opening times. Please keep this is mind when checking availability. Molde Vandrerhjem is set in beautiful natural surroundings on the west side of downtown Molde. The hostel has a lovely view of fjords and mountains as well as splendid lawns for the guests’ enjoyment. All together the hostel has 28 rooms and 70 beds. Shower and toilet facilities are shared in the hallway.Molde, “City of Roses”, is a coastal town in the county of Møre og Romsdal. The city is known as a touristic town that offers many attractions. For instance island hopping between Ona, Finnøy and Sandøy, the Molde Panorama, which counts 222 peaks, is known for its splendid view and many visitors like to fish, swim or climb in the area.
Molde Jazz Festival always offers a nice program that people from near and far come to hear. Please note that the hostel operates with different prices in the week of Molde Jazz Festival.
Molde Vandrerhjem is located in close distance to The Romsdalen Folk Museum and Aker Stadium. The newest swimming-facility in Molde is under construction, which is located in this area as well. Molde Vandrerhjem is a great starting point for trips to the Atlantic road, Trollstigen and Ona/Bjørnsund.
