As I have stayed in many HI hostels in the US and Australia which is the first world I compare to them. Maybe not fair but apart from that the value for money and friendly staff is the best here. The hostel was a bit cold sometimes but it is autumn and that happens everywhere,even in normal houses in Argentina this time of the year.

Excellent Hostel - Dorms were clean and the shower was nice. Did have a lumpy pillow! No aircon in the rooms but fans were put in each dorm. The breakfast was good but quite slow to be replenished which did mean that for some periods of time there was nothing available. Noticed some have complained of the noise in previous reviews but I had no troubles at all. Staff were very pleasant and helpful

The Mendoza Hostel is simply one of the best places I´ll ever stay in. Its actually more than a simple hostel with rooms, common places and nice (and cheap!) travel tips. Its kinda like a family, where everything runs perfectly fine. I cant really say anything bad from the hostel at all. The staff (Cecilia, Fred, Edu, Caroline, Patricia and Ivan) are the coolest/nicest/friendly staff I´ll ever face in this life and I can really say now that my time in Mendoza was more well spent because of their friendliness. My humble thank you for making this stay such a wonderful experience.
Hostel Overview
Situated 10 blocks from the bus station, the hostel is close to the centre of Mendoza City. It offer access to a wide variety of activities in the Andes, from mountain biking and hiking to rafting and horse riding. Accommodation is in 2-6 bedded rooms, all of them with en-suite bathrooms, and facilities include internet access, kitchen, laundry, meals and bike hire.If you book online, you will get the best prices available, even cheaper than the reception rate for members.
