We used room No.1 with family(4 persons). As your Web site showed the room capacity is for max 5 persons , we booked the room for my family. But when we checked in it , the room has only 1 double bed and 1 sofa. Then I we requested to add bed to reception. However , this YHA gave us just tranform the sofa to sofa bed. The sofa bed size was just a semi-double size only. Finally , we had to use 1 double bed for myself and my wife. 1 semi-double sized sofa bed for my two doughters. I think it was quite not enough space to sleep 4 persons and my two daughters felt quite unconfortable on the sofa bed. I have to say the room No.1 is the worst YHA room in the world !

Location is good and very close to airport and walkalbe distance to Victoria Market. Bedsheet is clean. Kitchen is a bit messy.

Melbourne is the events and sporting capital of Australia so make sure you check out what’s going on. There’s the Spring Racing Carnival in November, Summer Music Festivals, Australian Open Tennis in January, Grand Prix in March, plus many other film, arts and fashion events all year round.
Present your taxi receipt from Spencer St or Franklin St Bus terminals to the hostel and receive $3 off your first nights stay. Total fare should be approx $8-10.
