Perfect place to stay if you're hiking Masada. It's a few minutes walk from the base of the Snake trail. Free wifi, rooms are clean, staff is friendly, nightly price is fair, great free breakfast, and dinner available as well for reasonable price. Definitely recommended!!
Considering the stunnig location they could have charged a lot more for accomodation of this quality. Thankfully they didn't. A very relaxing and comfortable stay. Staff very helpful.
eat in the room was always very noisy, families and school classes should be separated from other guests
The room I stayed in was clean, nice and the price was reasonable.
The building had a refreshing desert like smell to it.
The staff was friendly and helpful
The breakfast buffet was good too.
Everything seemed to run smoothly even with hundreds of Israeli schoolchildren present.
Despite 5 bus loads of load teenagers from northern Israel, my wife and I were able to sleep peacefully and prepare for an early-morning climb up the Masada Snake Path.
The hotel is great located for those who would like to enjoy Masada sunrise view, or those who have car and can go easily to Dead Sea. It is closely located to the bus stop, so there is no problem with getting there, but there are few buses on Sabbath and with the bus it is more difficult to get to Dead Sea. I would highly recommended the hostel for its nice staff, cleanliness and great location for those going up to Masada.
really enjoyed at this hostel, the place was extremely clean, great water pressure in the shower, and the staff was friendly. great free breakfast in the morning, yum.
The architectural design and layout of the Massada Hostel/Guesthouse is fantastic! The food offered at breakfast was plentiful and varied. From all the bed/breakfasts that we stayed at during our stay in Israel, this place offered the best food. If we had to do it again, we'd stay longer than one night.
A great place to stay if one is climbing Masada for the sunrise. Substantial dinner. Great staff.
This is very nice hostel, clean, warm. Breakfast is not like in the hostel, but more like in the hotel, very tasty. It is a little bit far from the Dead Sea (20 min by bus to Ein Geden)
