Hostel Overview
Maasholm is a picturesque fishing village, famous for its marina at the point where the Schlei Fiord meets the Baltic Sea."Umwelthaus Maasholm" youth hostel is located in the Nature Adventure Centre Maasholm-Oehe-Schleimünde offering great views over the Baltic Sea. This small hostel is ideal for self-catering groups whishing to rent the entire house. It has its own large grounds with leisure and games facilities. The hostel can be rented on a self-catering basis but for bookings of several days half-pension is also available. Meals must be booked in advance at Kappeln youth hostel where they are served as well. Food purchase and delivery for self-catering can be organized by Kappeln YH and the hostel management is happy to provide recipes and tips regarding the use of the kitchen equipment in "Umwelthaus". Please bring your own bed sheets if at all possible but they can be rented from Kappeln YH.
