Rated security not too high since this hostel has no reception out of the season (unless you call them) so there is nobody around, but the doors can be locked. Very friendly owner, clean and spacious rooms with kitchenette, tv and fridge. Clean and complete shared kitchen and livingroom, close to supermarkets. I was very pleased with my stay here and would certainly visit again.

Hostel Overview
Lunde Hostel offers affordable accommodation in family-, 2 bedded- or single rooms. The rooms are spacious and they have all private shower and toilette, refrigerator and a kitchen with the basic equipment. The hostel is well suitable for self catering with an additional large and well equipped guest kitchen.The hostel is located about 1.5 km from Lunde lock in the Telemark Canal, with the canal boats, a small restaurant and park. It is possible to rent canoes, kayaks and bikes at the hostel and our staff will help you to choose among many diverse paddling, cycling or walking tours. -Some tours that are marked or other tours that we have made. From the hostel it is a walking distance to the town center which the train stops.
Cyclists are more than welcome to stay at the hostel. Other nearby attractions includes Bø Summerland Golf and Norsjø (20 min drive).
Please note that Lunde Hostel is open all year for guests who have pre-booked.
