It's a lonely place, no one stays there, so no chance to meet anyone. Single and doubles are just too expensive for that kind of service. Kitchen is badly equipped. No hair drier. Location is OK, beds are comfortable. But we have witnessed cockroach in our bathroom.

It was the worst hi hostel I've ever stayed. They overcharged for everything and most of the staff there were not speaking in English also they were not friendly either. The night I stayed, there was no water in my bathroom, so I have to go out my room to use the bathroom and there was only one room had the shower. I was kinda disappointed because the most of the hostels I stayed were in a good quality.

The most beautiful hostel I ever stayed at. It's an old house, nicely restored with a garden and a swimming pool. Very, very nice and ideally located. The staff is very friendly and supportive.

upon check-in, staff could do a better job of 'voluntarily' providing a map of the miraflores area, introducing guests to how to use the showers to get hot water, and an explanation of what and where the amenities of the facility are, such as the kitchen. i should not have to ask for these. also, the facility could provide a permanent marker to mark food stored in the kitchen. when i arrived, the staff was not occupied with other guests and yet, i received very limited welcome. "this is your room, pay us now." if you don't know English well, tell me; i'll slow down my speech and use simple grammar.

Lovely place - the only reason why I didn't give "comfort" the highest rating was that my room overlooked the living room/lobby, and whenver anyone spoke above a regular speaking tone, I could hear it very clearly and loudly in my room. At 2 a.m. I awoke to a loud conversation... maybe there should be quiet hours?

The hostel is quite nice to stay. The fact that people are inconsiderate with the rest of guests is something annoying. Even though we we in a private room we could hear loud and disturbing people. The dog is quite nice as well. Another thing that I did not like it was they charge us more knowing that when we book the price was stablish for non member already. Lose points for that.

Hostel Overview
Hostelling International Lima is situated in the Miraflores residential district, near many shops, fast food restaurants, supermarkets, inca markets, cinemas and shopping centers.
