We've stayed at 15-uero dorms which were completely not worth the price. The beds were very old and uncomfortable, the blankets were dirty and wet. There was no light in front of the dorm, so we had to look for a way in the darkness. There was nothing but ovens and sinks in the kitchen. The showers were very uncomfortable and had not been repaired for a long time. The overall experience was very unpleasant.

Hostel Overview
Surrounded by nature, Huhtiniemi camping site also runs a summer hostel, which is next to Finnhostel Lappeenranta. The summer hostel is located in a beautiful red wooden house, featuring two 6-bedded dormitories: one for men and the other for women. The rooms are spacious and get lots of daylight. Hostel guests can also use the other buildings around the yard, the cooking shelter and the barbeque areas. There are also a beach and saunas nearby. A roomy licensed cafe&restaurant is open to guests in the main building, next to Reception.We are located right on the shore of Lake Saimaa, close to Lappeenranta town centre. You can easily reach us, either by car or public transport.
Huhtiniemi summer hostel is open from June to August and offers you a warm welcome!

Huhtiniemi Camping features a summer hostel that offers economic shared accommodation to the visitors. The summer hostel is located in a large red building that has shared accommodation for women and men, six beds each. The rooms have beds, closets, chairs, and a table. Showers, toilets, and a cooking shelter are located in separate buildings.
