Hostel Overview
Viajero La Pedrera Hostel is located right in the center of La Pedrera, just 500 mts from the Main Avenue and the beach. Here you wil be able to enjoy the tranquility of the forest, a natural environment where the only thing you will hear is the sound of the sea and the birds (and a symphony of frogs at night). Ideal to rest and relax, we offer you private rooms with bathroom and balcony, kitchen, BBQ (in Uruguay there is always a roast), baker´s oven and a wooden deck to relax in the sun or enjoy the starry sky in Rocha.Between Punta del Este and Cabo Polonio, La Pedrera is a small village and also one of the most important spas in Rocha thanks to its beautiful beaches, ideal for the practice of surf. Its famous erosions prove the separation of the continents 140 millons of years ago. Apart from the harmony of the landscape, there is also a lively nightlife, whales watching from August to November, the Short Movies International Festival in January, the Carnival Parade (the most important in the Uruguayan Coast) and the Jazz Festival in Easter.
Just 220 km from Montevideo, La Pedrera is a unique destination, with the perfect combination between rest and cultural life.

| Bus: | From Tres Cruces Terminal in Montevideo(www.trescruces.com.uy) there are buses going to La Pedrera or La Paloma (ask whether the bus goes into La Pedrera). Get off at OSE Tank, a large water tank that it can be seen on the left hand side (when you face the sea) and keep going about 150mts. |
