this is the greatest hostel i ever stay in japan!! Nice dorm, beautiful view, super comfort. And the cost is fair!!!

Hostel has got a very good vibes:)it is located outside of the city and in nice and peaceful residential area. It is worth to hassle a bit to get there. It is full of facilities like post office ,big 7-Eleven and it's 10 minutes walk to some of the Kyoto's most impressive temples in northern part of city.

Difficult to comment on location: it's nicely located in a very quiet area in beautiful surroundings, but it is a long bus journey to town.

New open on July 12,2008 !! We surely new Utano Youth Hostel will be a really confortable YH for all guests. Utano YH is located in a quiet redidential area and close to lot's of world heritages and sightseeing places such as Kinkakuji,Ryoanji,Movieland,Arashiyama and so on. | Location: | North west part of Kyoto city. |
| Rail: | JR Kyoto Station to JR Hanazono sta.(JR SAN-IN line 11min. 190yen) JR Hanazono sta. to the YH (5min.taxi about 800yen) |
| Airport: | from Kansai International Airport to Kyoto station.
