Hostel has the best views of Moselle; Rhine and Deutsche Eck,and easy to reach it by city bus and the incliner, bus line #9 to the old town and Bahnhof. Good choices of buffet breakfast. the interior of this hostel was renovated just 2 years,everything looks clean and well maintained.

the hostel is just beside the castle, so there's an amazing view of the city, is very clean and modern the decoration... very easy to go to the city centre, i totally recomend it!

The hostel is located in the southern ward of Ehrenbreitstein fortress, with a view of the Rhine and Mosel valley, the city and the Deutsches Eck.Here you will discover a successful fusion of modern and historic arquitecture. The hostel is located in the historic fortress Ehrenbreitstein with incredible views of the Rhine and Moselle. The city lies at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle and is the gateway to the World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The family findly hostel is ideally suited for enjoying family vacation, celebrating class trips, and successful events, whether workshop, conference, leisure or music festivals. Hostel Koblenz was refurbishes, and now offers 157 beds in rooms with 1 bed, 2 beds, and 4 beds. All rooms have a bathroom with shower / WC.

5 common rooms of various sizes for 16 to 64 people.

| Parking: | The fortress Ehrenbreitstein is car-free since the 1st of april 2012. The hostel can be reached by an inclined elevator. The inclined elevator runs from the district of Ehrenbreitstein directly to the hostel and is in itself a first good experience at your arrival. The elevator is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The return ticket for the elevator has the following special prices for guests staying at the hostel: Adults € 3.00 Children from 7-14 years and students up to 18 years € 1.50 Children are free up to 6 years Please press the button "DJH" on the display of the POS Automates for the elevator and select the appropriate tariff. The car parking of Ehrenbreitstein is accessible from the district of Niedernberg. You will pass the Fritsch barracks and the park of the fortress on the way to the currently free car park. If you have a navigation system, please enter the following address: Greiffenklaustraße, 56077 Koblenz. After parking, you can cross the castle grounds free of charge, since the entry to the fortress of Ehrenbreitstein is free for our guests. Please show your booking confirmation or proof that you are staying at the hostel to the Security when passing the entrance gate. Should you nevertheless be requested to pay a fortress entrance, please kep the receipt and you will be refunded at the front desk of the hostel. |

| Rail: | Main train station Koblenz Hbf: take Bus number 9 or 10 to the station "Obertal / inclined elevator". Opposite the entrance lies the inclined elevator. The outward journey to the hostel is free of charge as it is included in the price of yor bus ticket. At the machine press the button "public transport exchange" and take the appropriate ticket. The next day you will have to paid for the ticket. Or from station Koblenz Ehrenbreitstein (including regional trains from Cologne, Siegburg, Linz, Engers). Walk to the fort along the public paths "Felsenweg" or "General-Aster-Weg". |
