Great lounge area, fully equipped, warm and well decorated. Next to a shop for essential supplies. Bit out of the way location-wise for people without a car.

Small hostel but very well run. The beds were a bit squeaky but the couple running the hostel told us that they have plans to update and improve the rooms and facilities. The kitchen is compact but there is a nice lounge area with a dining table too. We didn't get the chance to try out the cafe next door but another couple who were staying said that it was very good. Handy having the shop next door.

no one there in the evening, " just go in through the kitchen door.." good for us, but as far as security :-/ no one ther at 8 in the morning, we could´ve just left without paying, no berakfat before 9 am available.. nice location at the Loch

We arrived and there is NO staff. The girl from the store happened to be still around and showed us to a room. There are NO locks on rooms or on hostel so it is open for anyone to enter anytime. Kitchen is basic, but worked OK. One bathroom for a possible 16 guests is inadequate. There is a basic shower and a toilet downstairs, the only toilet upstairs was in the bathroom. Another 4came in not even a note left for them, they booked in. I found a room for them. no one to pay in the morning until the shop opened. They left the money with another hosteller! This is a good position and has potential but not up the usual standard of hostels. ESP with security.

It was too packed at the time we stayed at the hostel. Maybe 14 beds are too many for the facilities provided.
