Die Bäder wurden erst sehr spät am Tag geputzt und waren deswegen jeden Morgen sehr dreckig. Haare überall. Drecksfußspuren auf dem Boden. Schimmel in der Dusche

We strive to clean our bathrooms as early as possible. Unfortunately, early in the day there are many travelers taking showers, thus we would rather wait until the morning rush is completed before we cordon off a bathroom for cleaning purposes. It's a good place for hostellers. You don't get the party crowd, travellers are very relaxed.

Wir waren Anfang September 2011 in San Diego. Das Zimmer ( es ist auf der Homepage abgebildet ) war nicht so schön, wie es aussieht. Vielleicht ist es inzwischen renoviert. Das ganze Gebäude vibrierte deutlich und wir bekamen nicht heraus, woran das lag. Die Sanitärräume sind immer so sauber, wie die Gäste sie hinterlassen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Kurz: unser Aufenthalt war schön und das Haus ist weit besser, als das in San Francisco.

Very good location if you’re with friends and want to party. Not a very good one if you’re tired and want to rest, though. The whole building is somewhat shabby. The staff would not tell me more than I would ask. I asked where the outlet was, and I could have saved some money if someone had told me to make a registration online before going shopping there. After asking, I was told to go to the La Jolla Beach, but no one pointed out there is also a Seal Beach, which now I know I missed. People around were untrustable, my labeled food vanished from the fridge. The tours were good, but next time I'll try another hostel.
