This YH is ideally located near Taksim Squere and very convinent to do any sightseeing in Istanbul. I had a very good time hree. That's why I highly recommend this hostel. Above all, security is perfect. And the staff are very friendly and kind. Once stay, never forget. From a Japanese traveler "Mike".

The location is great because its central, HOWEVER, VERY noisy at night. I thought I'd booked a women only room but it happened to be mixed, little space to change as limited space in shower and bathroom. Bathrooms need to be cleaned more often. Pleasant room and nice vegie restaurant just round the corner :)

Very hard to find (we walked past it 3 times until someone told us on which door to knock) but once you will get there you will find exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and a very comfortable bed.

Chambers of the Boheme was one of the best HI hostels I've stayed in (and that's saying something). Their attention to detail is second to none and the staff are wonderful. I can't wait to visit again.Excellent staff, who really showed me what hospitality means. The bathroom and room looked really new and the beds were confortable. Excellent location. 5 minute walk from Taksim Square. The location is very nice near to Istiklal street ,where you can find every thing there ( shopping , entertainment ) Accessible to restaurants and tourists sites. If I'll go back to Istanbul, I would certainly go back to Chambers of the Boheme.

This YH is ideally located very near Takusim Squere and you can go to any intresesting,sightseeing places in Istanbul in a short time. Above all, the staff are very kind and friendly. Of course security is perfect. Once stay, never forget.

The location is VERY central, which is good for the daytime but awful for nighttime when trying to get to sleep. Nearby bars are playing loud music until 1am every day of the week.

Superbe location in the very heart of Istanbul (Taksim square, Istiklal caddesi, Balo sokak, nightlife area with bars and clubs; everything just a short footwalk away).. Had a very nice 12 bed dorm with 2 private bathrooms.. I also had a great time with the staff, big boy Ahmed and his son are very friendly and always happy to help... I stayed at Chambers of the Boheme for a weekend, and I had a great time. The location is excellent: 5 minutes walking from tons of restaurants, bars and clubs at night, 10 minutes walking from the airport bus station on Taksim Square, and 5 minutes walking from the Taksim metro station from which you can go anywhere in Istanbul (20 minutes away by funicular and tramway from the Sultan Ahmet area). The hostel area is very safe, and I didn't experience any noise at night. The rooms are fine, and there is a locker that can be locked with a key under each bed. And most importantly, the owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. I strongly recommend.

Overall service was friendly, but hostel was very disappointing. The owner was friendly and helpful with specific requests. The advertised breakfast was not provided and rooms/bathroom was never cleaned during our 3 day stay. Hostel is close to restaurants and bars, but very loud at night (until at least 5am). Beds were uncomfortable and hostel looked rundown.
