Eco Hostel Lujimba is a pretty run-down place. My room smelled like pee and there were many kinds of animals around, but unluckily no monkeys anymore. The hostel is quite far from the beach (15 mins walk). I would not recommend staying in this hostel, as "Eco" means "dirty" in this case. Imbassai itself is a wonderful town with awesome beaches, but if you want to visit it, I advise to choose another accommodation.

Hallo Everybody!!! I really feel like recommending Lugimba to anyone interested in experiencing an ecologic yet confortabele contact with nature. The hostel is conveniently located near the beach and the center of Imbassaí. Pretty ecologic with hammocks to relax under the shady trees while being caressed by the sea breeze. The infrastructure is sincerely clean with an equipped kitchen, confortable bedrooms with a private light for each bed. Ample common areas include an upstairs wooden area for chilling out, reading or observing the birds as they fly through the trees. The staff is frendly and avilable for assistance. The hostel is very clean and the vibe is really pleasurable and homely. Highly recommended!!

Maravilhoso! Realmente ecologico, bem arvorizado, ventilado, varias redes para se relaxar, amplos espaço comunitario para socializar e uma varanda entre as copas das arvores para fazer yoga. Aquecedor solar para a agua dos chuveiros... Os quartos são bem limpinhos, cada cama tem uma luz individual. Tudo isso mais a simpatia do pessoal rendeu minha estadia no Lujimba uma experiença Realmente Agradavel. Agradeço muito Roberto!!
Hostel Overview
Imbassai Eco Hostel is created to make your stay in Lujimba a time to relax with nature. The hostel is surrounded by palm trees and fruit trees and is usually visited by small primates. Located in Imbassaí, a beach 65 km from the City of Salvador, the hostel is perfect for those guests wanting to chill out. With outdoor activities possible nearby the hostel looks forward to welcoming you.Imbassai is a very quiet village, where you will feel relax and very safe. There are several almost deserted beaches and a river that flows into the sea. From November to March it is possible to see sea turtles spawning on the beach, and in June and July you can see humpack whales. This is a natural and quiet place. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

| Bus: | From the bus terminal of Salvador. To the value of the ticket, you have to add 1 BRL (0.32€) of boarding tax. The trip takes about one hour and a half and the timetable is: 9.45am, 1.30pm, 4.30pm and 6.00pm. |

| Location: | Imbassai is located 65km north of the International Airport of Salvador, on the green line, 10 km north of Praia do Forte. Imbassai Eco Hostel Lujimba is 500mts from the beach and from the river and 500mts from the markets and restaurants. |
| Airport: | From the International Airport of Salvador. The buses that depart from the terminal of Salvador get to the airport about 20 min later. The bus stop is opposite the arrivals lounge, near Ventas de Acaraje. We suggest to call: 3460-3636 (Green Line). Another optionn is to take a bus to Estrada de Coco (Altura centro de Lauro de Freitas) and there take a Green Line to Imnabassaí. |
