Who would have thought Helsinki of all places would have a hostel so Dickensian? If it had been cheap, I wouldn't have minded but really it was overpriced for a such an underwhelming experiences. Nice staff though.

Hostel Erottajanpuisto is located in the Helsinki City Center with all attractions in walking distance. The hostel rooms, which are on the 3rd floor of a 19th century building, are light and airy with high ceilings creating a cosy athmosphere. Hostel Erottajanpuisto, open 24hours, frequently receives compliments for its cleanliness, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff speaking several languages. Free of charge facilities include usage of fully equipped kitchen, showers, toilets and living room. Linen and towels are included in the room price. Charge will apply for breakfast, snacks, refreshments and Internet. The main shopping street is only five minutes away, ten minutes to the Railway Station including airport bus services, ten minutes to the major seaports. The home street of the hostel is known as a trendy street in the city with bars, restaurants, art galleries and fashion boutiques.
