We had a real problem finding this hostel as the map on your website is incorrect - you show it as being on a road off the main road north of Ullensvang where it is actually on a road off the main road on the south side of Ullensvang. Please can you correct it.

very nice hostel in a beautiful area not so easy to get there without car, but it´s worth to go there great breakfast, friendly staff, nice rooms go there when the cherries are ripe... lots of trees with lots of cherries, guests are allowed to pick as much as they like

It is very nice hostel to enjoy nature, but at the same time, it is not easy to organise short trip in Lofthus without a car.

This hostel is a seasonal hostel, which means it is not open all year and has seaonal opening times. Please keep this is mind when checking avaliability. Hardanger is a name that Norwegians associate with blossom and fruit. Lofthus is located in the middle of the orchard of Norway! A mild and pleasant climate and clear, light summer nights are ideal for our guests, as much as for fruit and berries. From the hostel, you have easy access to the Hardangerfjord, the Hardangervidda National Park and two of Norway?s largest glaciers, Folgefonna and Hardangerjøkulen. From mountains and glaciers the majestic waterfalls foam down into the queen of fjords.-
