my husband and i were very very happy at the kazy. and you know that we spent many nights there. li nan was so incredibly patient and kind with constantly writing things in mandarin for me with pinyin in case i wanted to speak. the location is fabulous. and the ambience of the old synagogue is not easily duplicated. i would definitely recommend it to anyone going to harbin.

Doors are a bit thin, noise travels far. Good location for strolling into the center, along the main 'tourist' road Zhongyangdajie.

I loved my stay there...the hostel is great. It was a bit damp and musty...but I think the age of the building makes it so! Everyone was great...and I will stay there again!!

Attractions from Kazy hostel:
i) 5mins walk heading south to the street end is Jewish Museum of History and Culture.
ii) 8mins walk north to the Stalin Park along the Sungary River (Songhua River).
iii) A block away the Central Avenue (中央大街 zhōng yāng dà jiē)
iv) 10mins walking to the St. Sofia Orthodox Cathedral (now Harbin Architectural Art Gallery). Harbin Ice Lantern Art Fair in Zhaolin Park (兆麟公园; Zhàolíngōngyuán) next to the Central Avenue.
Please note that we have 24hrs cancellation policy and cancellation should be made at least the day before arrival data before 6pm. Credit cards cannot be used when you check-in, cash only, ATMs are available around our hostel within 3mins.
There is no curfew, but front door will be locked about 12am, if your back after, knock the door or call the front desk for the doorman.
Check-out time is 12pm, free luggage storage after you check-out. After check-out, you still have access to the common areas for the rest of the day.

| Rail: | from HARBIN TRAIN STATION : (1) Bus 13QuJianChe, turn left and go ahead after you walk out of the exit of Harbin Train Station until you pass by a big bell on the wall and the entrance of underpass 50m far toward Ticket Hall, walk through the underpass to the end and go out from the left exit, you will catch the bus 13QuJianChe right there and ask the bus driver to make sure the that the bus do run to the Tong Jiang Jie because that another 13 short line do not run to hostel, get off the bus at the 3rd stop ,Tong Jiang Jie Stop, welcome home, we're just opposite. (2) take a taxi here ￥10. After 9pm some taxi ask a high price(20 or 30), turn to another one, ￥10 enough. (3) walk, it's a not really bad way to walk here if your case is small, 2.4km from train station to here, and 20mins or so. Follow the google maps, good trip. |

(1) airport shuttle Line3-it's our highly recommend (running between 10:00 to 21:00) ,get off the bus at Zhongyang Dajie stop and now you are on Jingwei Erdao St, cross to the other side,walking ahead on the opposite direction of car running until you arrive at Holiday Inn, and now go across to central pedestrian street( Zhongyang Dajie ), then go straight until you see McDonald's about 10mins, the turn left to Dongfeng St on the McDonald's facing direction, we are on the next street corner in wthite and red ,with a STAR of DAVID top on the RED DOOM. (2)airport shuttle bus Line 1(runing for 24hrs) ,get off the bus at Anfa Qiao ,and take a taxi here about ￥10. (3)take taxi here ￥140 enough ,￥20 highway toll include ,do not pay more, and sometime taxis from airport do not run on the meters. |
