Kakapo Lodge YHA Backpackers in popular Hanmer Springs is a purpose built Backpackers Lodge with great views and an easy two minuite walk from the popular Hanmer Springs thermal reserve. The Hostel sleeps 50 with a variety of accommodation: ensuites, twins, doubles, family rooms and multi share rooms. All beds are fully made-up, no bunks in the multi shares . The Lodge has underfloor heating, large kitchen/dining room, 3 decks with great views, courtyard with BBQ and seating, log fire and big lounge with tv/dvd and free dvd and book exchange.
