Generally talking it was a very good place to stay for the duration of two nights. It's obvious that Norway isn't the cheapest place to stay in general, so staying in the Hostel of Hamar was really a good catch. You have breakfast included in the price, a cosy room with shower and toilet included. The only thing I didn't expect that we had a bunk bed for two persons and not two single/ or one double bed. I had assumed this is what's meant by a double room. (Probably I got it wrong). So luckily I was able to be young enough to climb up on the upper one - but still this was a little tricky as there wasn't a ladder. To sum it up, I guess for two nights, we were lucky to have this place. Maybe for longer it might not be suitable for everybody.

Excellent service, quality food and very clean room. In my next visit Hamar I will stay again! Невысокая для Норвегии цена, отличные комнаты, хорошая подборка телеканалов, бесплатный компьютер с интернетом на рецепшен, бесплатный кофе из кофеварки на рецепшене до 23:00. Слишком поздно понял, что не нужно было останавливаться в Осло - надо было ехать сразу в Хамар - до Осло 1 час езды на регион тог(региональный поезд). Если взять проездной, то это будет намного дешевле, чем жить в Осло. Хамар, сам по себе, отличный город - и нет цыган.

Hostel Overview
Our city has activities for both children and adults. Medieval and art museums, the world’s oldest paddle steamer in scheduled service (Skibladner), ice skating, 1500 sq meter indoor playground (NEW!), water park, sandy beach, candle foundry, zoo, nice nature with lots of different birds, fishing possibilities and shopping centres are some of the activities Hamar offer. After a busy day with a lot of fun, you can come back to our motel and apartement, have a tasteful dinner and relax in good atmosphere. We have comfortable beds, TV and bathroom in all our rooms and apartments. Included in the price is also our wonderful breakfast buffet.We’ll give your day the perfect start… … and end!
