First time staying in a shared room with people I didn't know, but was happy and would recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a budget stay in Washington.

The elevator was too slow. Is there any safety issue with it? I was in a private room for one week. It would have been nice if our towels had been replaced at least once. Otherwise, everything was fine. Thank you!
Hostel response:
Sabine: Thanks for sharing your experience! The elevator is perfectly safe, yet slow. We would've been happy to replace your towel at the front desk! Visit us again soon!
Antonio, Hi-Washington DC
The surrouding of the bed room was extemly noising. the showers were not very clean. The staff was not very clear in their explainations, for example they did not mention the real price of the locker (4£ instead of only 1$ for a small luggage). It was also the first time I saw the staff cannot keep in a secure luggage storage our luggage without paying anything. and it was not. Compared to all hi hostel in worldwide I did, in Europe and Australia, I was wery disappointed.
Hostel response:
Anaïs: Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm sorry that some of our explanations were unclear! For clarification, we offer storage lockers in two sizes. The large lockers are $4 per day, while the small lockers are $1 per day, both are single use only. We have to charge for the use of lockers due to us not owning them. I hope this helps! Safe travels!
