Very nice staff. Very nice other guests (hopefully they can say the same about me). And very nice location. Lodging is basic, but location is priceless.

The guy working the desk at night was very friendly and helpful. Sorry I didn't catch his name. Loved the hostel, the location and the little town of Pescadero. Beautiful beaches super close and we had amazing weather. Will definitely go back!

I strongly suggest that the gender division as in "males have dorms not connected to the bathroom" vs. "females have dorms connected to bathroom" changes--people should not be exposed on toxic fumes from others' chemical/non-natural shampoos and shower gels in dorms based on their gender and lack accessible accommodations for people with asthma (like myself) based on gender (I get ill from staying in a dorm connected to bathroom, due to presence of toxic fumes). I strongly suggest giving the option of dorm connected to bathroom or not connected to it to everyone, not based on person's gender, and, therefore, not having person's comfort and healthy accommodation access on their gender. Just because someone is "female" should not determine their level of access to bathrooms or increased exposure to chemicals.
