Really terrific hostel !! This was my second visit this summer... great location, super staff, amazing kitchen and dining area. Everything is pretty updated and spiffy since the main building here is newly (spring 2011) renovated/opened. Seems to have adequate parking -- in high season though, maybe call ahead if you're driving.
i would return
enjoyed my stay and the public transportation options
Jamie was especially helpful and very friendly! She helped me out a lot with the area and did so with her contagious smile and laughter! I loved staying at the hostel and would do it again in a heartbeat!
HI Hyannis is beautiful. It's a really nice modern building with a beach holiday home feel. It was very clean and the staff were wonderful with great pancakes for breakfast. Thank you
my first hostel experienc.the big difference I found was international guests(non-enlish speaking. as a single traveler, it was a little isolating not to be able to have any conversation in the common room.I'm use to A.M.C. travel where strangers are friendly and share stories of all there world travels.so I would not go alone to a hostel, I would bring a friend
Great hostel nice location good deep sea fishing trips nice beaches easy access to ferry which goes to martha's vineyard & Nantucket out of the two islands i would say martha's vineyard is best also main street as good shopping and restaurants. all this is on the hostels door step
the mattress need to be changed. The springs are all worn out.
We ended up waiting for the bathroom for 30min in the morning, when only one person was using it. I think it would be a great idea to suggest to guests to limit their bathroom time in the morning to 10-15 min.
Greta staff, great hostel!!!!
