A perfect stay , We felt like home!

The only thing missing was a walk-through orientation. Other than that, it was a very good value!
Sadly, my trip was cut short due to logistics and I did not stay at this Hostel. Next time, I look forward to experiencing this location.
Hostel Overview
HI - Canmore is ideally located on the eastern outskirts of the town of Canmore on the eastern boundary of Banff National Park, in the heart of world-class hiking, rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and skiing. Comprised of two buildings, each has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, fireplace, deck and barbeque. HI - Canmore is ideal for small and large groups or individuals looking for a quiet, affordable overnight stay in the Canadian Rockies. With the exception of groceries, HI-Canmore is equipped to provide you with everything you may need during your stay, be it as a one night jumping-off point to the backcountry or for longer term recreating in the Canmore/ Banff area. | Bus: | 4.4 km from Canmore Greyhound station. Head east on 8 St/Main St toward 7 Ave. Turn right at Railway Ave. Turn right at Bow Valley Trail/Hwy 1A . Continue to follow Hwy 1A for 3.2 km. Turn left at Indian Flats Rd. |
| Parking: | We have two parking lots below the main hostel, you may drive up to the building for unloading of luggage. |
| Location: | Travel Westbound on the Trans-Canada Highway (#1) from Calgary to Canmore. Turn right at the first Canmore exit after crossing the Bow River, signed for Hwy 1A. Turn left (East) onto Hwy 1A. After 0.8km, turn left onto Indian Flats Road. |
