We find all hostels are charging quite a bit of money for sleeping in a twin bunk bed with others in a room. We stayed at other hostels and paid close to 70.00 and had shared baths and bunk beds. I feel I could get hotel rooms for about the same price. Probably will camp more in tent than hostels just for this reason. In a tent I can sleep next to my boyfriend and with others in room for half the cost. This manager a beauty creek was wonderful, she very helpful and pleasant. Definitely a keeper. Karen
Hostel Overview
Only 17 kms north of the Columbia Icefield, the hostel provides access to excellent hiking trails, including one that offers views of 8 waterfalls descending through a limestone gorge (Stanley Falls). This is a Wilderness Hostel with no running water, outdoor toilets and NO electricity.Hostel bed capacity

Winter (Oct to May) - Must go to HI-Jasper or HI-Lake Louise for Key deposit and Pick up! This hostel is only open on key access...

Partial closure from October 12 to May 15. Key lock codes can be obtained from the Central Reservation.
