Hostel Overview
Welcome to your home away from home in the heart of Takaka village. We are the closest hostel/backpackers to the i-site and town centre.Relax in our cottage garden while cooking on the BBQ. Enjoy fully made up beds, hot showers, chill out next to the log fire in the winter, full use of the 2 kitchens, internet (incl wireless, DVD/CD burner, card reader and Skype), bikes available for use, laundry facilities, and complimentary tea & coffee. Credit cards and Eftpos welcome. Myself Miyuki and Allan your hosts await to guide you through your Golden Bay experience.
From the hostel we are in easy and close reach to the Able Tasman, Tata Beach, Ligar Bay, Pohara Beach, Pupu Springs, Collingwood, the famous Mussel Inn, Wharariki Beach, Farewell Spit, the wonderful 4-5 day Heaphy track, and Cobb Valley. each hold a wonderful adventure waiting for you to discover.
