Very nice Hostel. I stayed in a Cabin for 4 persons with only 2 persons. With 4 there is not much room for luggage. The owner toed us with his snowmobile on a rubbertube thru the snow. That was a lot of fun!.

Hostel response:
We are located 2 km from the center of Geilo, so it takes around 30 minutes to walk; but there are free ski buses that leave from us in the morning with return in the afternoon, so it is not difficult to get to the lifts or the center of town by free transport.

We really enjoyed our stay and would have stayed a few extra nights if we could have, best place we've stayed in Norway so far. Staff particularly helpful and friendly, and knew their stuff! Highly recommended.

I'm not sure where the other people who were complaining about this hostel were talking about. The rooms and linen were clean and even though we were in a room below ground, it was fine. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only problem with this place is that it is two km walk from the train station. That's ok if you have transport but if you have a big pack on and decide to walk, it's quite a hike. Other than the location, an excellent experience here.

The room was very small (to small to have our bagage in our room). Room was also located in the common room, so the privacy was poor.
