Wish there would have been breakfast and the shower didn't stay on for more than a minute at a time, but other than that, we had a very good stay. It was very nice that they have cards with discounts to restaurants and cafes, so we didn't need to spend too much on money. The staff was great and very helpful.

Good hostel but busy & with that number people the kitchen area is barely big enough.

I'm glad to be able to comment on the Galway Sleepzone because I really enjoyed my time there. The place is run very efficiently - it is wonderfully clean and well equipped. The staff were informative and genuinely hospitable. I arrived without a towel but two were provided without charge. All my questions were answered and there was a bank of self-locking little safes for valuables and they also were free of charge. I liked the no smoking, no drinking, no food upstairs rules as it meant that I was guaranteed a smoke/alcohol/food free room. Thank you!

Sleepzone Hostel Galway is a spacious purpose-built hostel , with nearly 200 beds in en-suite rooms, both dormitory and private. Sleepzone Galway City is situated in the centre of Galway City-100 metres from Eyre Square, only 3 minutes from the bus & rail terminal and coach station, and close to all the city's amenities, including pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants. CLEANLINESS: By far the highest rated hostel in Galway for Cleanliness.
SECURITY: Excellent security - keycard access to front of house, stairwell and individual rooms; electronic luggage lockers, free use of laptop and valuables lockers in lobby.
DISCOUNTED TOURS FROM FRONT DOOR: Discounted tours of Connemara and The Cliffs of Moher with daily pick-up from - and return to - our front door ! (option of overnight stays in our sister hostels in Connemara or The Burren)

| Bus: | Directions from Galway Coach Station (private bus companies arrive here): Exit the coach station and walk right, towards the traffic lights outside Anglo Irish Bank. Walk up Bothar Ui Eithir (the road that divides Anglo Irish Bank on the right and Mace convenience store on the left). At the top of Bothar Ui Eithir turn left. Then take the first right onto Bothar na mBan. You will see Sleepzone about 80 metres ahead on the left hand side. Please note that Bothar Ui Eithir is a one-way street. You can walk but not drive up. Directions from Galway City 'Bus Eireann' Terminal: The station is beside Eyre Square in the centre of Galway City. When you exit the station cross over to Garvey’s Bar and, keeping Eyre Square on your left, walk to the top of the street. At the top of Eyre Square turn right. You will see Cuba Night Club/Bar 903 on your left. Go past Bar 903 and take the next turn left (Bothar na mBan) - you will see Sleepzone about 80 metres down on the left hand side. |
| Parking: | The Dyke Road parking lot is located just down the street. When approaching the car park from Sleepzone, simply continue down Bóthar na mBan road and through the traffic lights; the parking lot is on your right. The cost is €5/day, and free from 6:30pm – 8:00am. Please note that this is an outdoor public car park, and cars and belongings are left at the owners’ risk. |
