Great clean double room, mattress bit hard but that is the only downside!

From my observation, the ground floor reception area is a bit dusty. The Billiard table should be relocated. Now its being placed at the Reception entrance before the Reception Counter. The Billiard players were smoking away as they played and it does not project a good image for HI being adopting the ECO Green concept

Need Billboard to Hostel, Big Problem with Slow Wi-Fi, No PC and Internet use when you haven't your personnel PC, Some Staff have good Service some unwilling service mind

The location of the hostel was really terrific, the hostel had character and the staff were helpful. the kitchen was very basic, but at least there was one, and the bathroom tiny. I felt very at home and would stay there again.

Hostel Overview
Guangzhou Riverside International Youth Hostel is by the riverside of Pearl River and is on the opposite side of the former foreign quarters which is well preserved as it was where you can find a strong colonial sentiment.Along the riverside, there are pubs and bars, restaurants, cafè and cultural and art area transformed from old factories. Front end of the hostel is facing the river with a view of well-known White Swan Hotel in a distance, amid in line of trees which adds colour to scenery. This is a place where past and presence meet whereby tranquillity and activities interchange.
Youth Hostel offer dormitories, twins, single, riverside en-suite, family rooms etc. Cafè, internet, conference room, self-catering kitchen, laundry, left luggage and travel services are available.
