Nice to have a car to move around. Ample parking space at the hostel . Very good spread for breakfast. If visiting the town centre it is more convenient to use public transport. Worthwhile to walk around the town. Take trips out to visit Titisee, Triberg , , Gengenbach and Strasbourg if you have a car.

Location was 5 km out of the center of Freiburg. Luckily we had a bike to go there.
