Traffic-noise from outside and the room would have been more sympatatic with 6 beds instead of 8! Kitchen impressive!

I recommend that you must provide tea/coffee & breakfast with bed to all your customers. You can keep some limitations.

Nice clean hostel with good facilities. The room however, was very warm at night whic resulted in needing the windows open - the hostel is on quite a noisy road so was kept awake by traffic noise.

I liked this hostel. The front desk staff helped me figure out where to go and what to see, then when I decided on a tour, they called and booked it for me. Overall a very pleasant experience.

This place was super clean and friendly. They have a place where you can get food pretty much all the time of the day. The staff was helpful and the location is like 2 min outside of the main road.

The overall cleanliness was good. I stayed in a 8 bed doorm. Over Christmas the same people stayed for four days. No one came in to clean our bathrooms or empty garbage-thing got a bit dirty. The manager was very pleasant and wanting us to have a great stay. Staff was incredibly helpful and the kitchen facilities were fabulous.

Hostel Overview
Edinburgh Central hostel is located in the city centre in the heart of Scotland’s capital, the famous Princes Street, Edinburgh castle, the Royal Mile and Old Town are a stones throw away. Entertainment, bars, restaurants and cafés are all within easy reach or why not enjoy a relaxing drink in our very own bar!The Edinburgh Youth Hostel is open all year round and can easily accommodate groups, families and individuals. All rooms are en-suite, spacious and furnished to the highest standard. Family and private rooms are available. Full dining, bistro and self-catering facilities are available giving you plenty of choice to suit your budget. WiFi is available throughout the building and also on the 6 internet stations in the reception lounge area.
A variety of rooms are available, from singles to 8 bedded dormitories, all en-suite. Premium rooms have Freeview TV, DVD, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary towels. The hostel also has 3 bedrooms with specific additional disabled facilities. There are excellent conference facilities for films, games, dances and meetings.

| Bus: | From the Bus Station Entrance turn right into St Andrews Square. Walk then via York Place to Leith Walk where you turn left. (10min) |
| Parking: | no customer car park. Only street Parking at Annandale Street and adjacent streets available. |
| Sea port: | From Rosyth take a bus or the train (via Inverkeithing) to Edinburgh City Centre |
| Location: | The hostel is located at Haddington place on the left side of Leith Walk. That is about 100 yards after the second roundabout when coming from Princes Street. The hostel sits at the corner with Annandale street |
| Rail: | Alight at Edinburgh Waverley Station. Via Calton Road or Princes Street exit you can easily get to Leith Walk, where you find the hostel on the left side. |
| Airport: | 7 miles from the airport. Take the Bus into City Centre and walk 10 min to the hostel via Princes Street and Leith Walk. |
