The staff is awesome. This hostel is far from the city, you'll need to spend around R50 to get to downtown Durban (about 15 min away), or maybe catch a bus or mini-taxi (R4) if you're really wild. It is far from the sun coast casino, far from Ushaka and everything. However this is a safe area, from what I heard much safer than Happy Hippo. The hostel environment is cool, they have a little waterfall with a little lake, very pleasant.

Location:	Situated in a leafy suburb of Durban near two shopping centres, many restuarants and transport routes are easily accessible.
Airport:	From the airport, take the M4, take Berea Road turn off, carry onto Che Guevara. Right into Lena Ahrens (becomes Stephen Dlamini). Left into St. Thomas. Right into Peter Mokaba. Left into Julia Road. We are the corner house of Julia and Jesmond Road. number 2.
