Hostel Overview

Dahmen Youth Hostel is nestled in sheer endless nature on the south bank of Lake Malchin. Only greenery and nothing to do? Poppycock! After all we are here! There is a lot to discover with our team: beavers’ lodges, the Basedow lookout, the historic village, Malchow “Monkey Forest”, a summer toboggan run, castles, parks, horse riding centres and loads of nature of course.

Directions

Bus:	Coming from the north A19 until exit Güstrow, then B104 to Teterow, then B108 via Ziddorf and through Dahmen towards Malchin. Coming from the south A 19 until exit Malchow, continue on Deutsche Alleenstraße via Vollratsruhe and Ziddorf through Dahmen towards Malchin. Coming from the east via Neubrandenburg and Malchin, then Deutsche Alleenstraße to the edge of the town of Dahmen.
Parking:	free parking for coaches and cars
Rail:	To Teterow or Malchin railway station, from there Teterow-Malchin bus to Dahmen stop, from there 3 min walk to the hostel. Train timetables at Deutsche Bahn - telephone (01805) 19449 or website www.bahn.de. Train information for cyclists provided by ADFC on www.adfc.de/bahn.
