I simply love the place except the fact that non-staying guests were having BBQ the whole night outside our private room for the nights we were there.

except for the 5sgd that I was charged for lack of membership ID and an un-ensuite comfort room, everything else is ok. We enjoyed the encounter with the peacock, the squirrel and birds in that "forest" near the beach.

Straff didn't really seem to care about guests. Room was nice and clean facing the pool so you could hear other guests screaming and making noise through the night. We had bugs, mosquitos and ants in our room even though we were on the third floor. The room did not have a safetybox, but fridge and a dresser with space for clothes. The "restaurant" has good prices but small portions and the food did not taste very much. They had a small counter showing the pastries they sold but you could see ants running around and eating the pastries. Really nice pool area and just a couple of steps to the beach. It would be nice if the staff seemed to care about you and for example give you information about all the stuff to do on the island and how to get around etc. Expensive for being a HI hostel - its really a hotel. I liked sentosa though - but a bit to expensive to me.

Excellent hostel - fantastic location right near the beach. Very clean and friendly service, needed secure lockers in each room though.

Perched on a hill overlooking the Siloso Beach - one of the best beaches in Singapore with golden sands and crystal clear waters, Costa Sands Resort (Sentosa) is ideal for short getaways.Private rooms are Kampung Huts which DO NOT have ensuite bathroom facilities. Common shared bathrooms are available.
Please note that the entrance fee to Sentosa Island is not inclusive in the room rates. Entrance fee will be charge on per entry basis.
If you NO SHOW without making cancellation online or informing the hostel, we are authorised to charge the full booking amount to your credit card.

| Rail: | Sentosa Express at Vivo City (3rd floor - Sentosa Station), alight at the Beach Station: 1) Take the Resort shuttle service, or 2) Take the beach tram going towards Siloso Beach, alight at the 2nd stop and walk to the rear gate of the Resort. Operating Hours for Sentosa Express : First train – 7am; Last train – 12mn. Beach Station: First train – 7am; Last train – 12mn. Beach Tram : 9am - 11pm (Sun - Thu & Public Holidays); 9am - 12mn (Fri, Sat & Eves of Public Holidays). Frequency : 15 - 20 mins interval. |
