One of the best hostels we have stayed in, the staff were so friendly and the food was excellent, a superb location too, good mattresses and so clean everywhere.

Very warm friendly helpful staffs. The free breakfast is good. It's much cheaper to buy tickets for the cable car here.

Very nice family that runs the hostel, it really felt good to stay there! Try out the hostels dinner meal, the cook is so openhearted and its really tasty and more than enough!

Hostel has a lockout - 10 til 4 I believe. Dinner offered each night was cheap and tasty. Typical Italian b/fast (free) - roll, coffee, cereal. 15 min walk into town, or buses that drop you off right outside. Staff were very friendly, and helped with anything we needed. The dorms are single sex, so I couldn't stay with my wife. Curfew is midnight.

Hostel Overview
A lakeside vacation here is a wonderful experience that's hard to forget. There are also lots of other things to see: besides stunning Lake Como, which can be crossed to the other side by frequent erries, there is the beautiful art and the shopping in nearby towns - all easily reachable. Travel to a town where it's possible to buy silk at a discount, for instance. The list of activities here is so long that there's no chance of being bored in Como, the commercial crossroads between Europe and Italy. There's also a bit of folklore that takes place each June when the evocative Medieval Palio is held.Hostel bed capacity
