This hostel, actually this whole town, basically felt closed for the season. The pub that the hostel is over the top of was closed for winter already, the hours that the hostel is staffed are only 10am to 7pm (the least likely times to need staff for check-in or check-out), and there was nobody working at all when we arrived at 7:15pm and had difficulty even paying to leave at 9:30am. The hours were not posted on the reservation and the hostel is very difficult to find. Thankfully keys were left for us on the stair rails as we had a booking. There was no breakfast unlike every other hostel we stayed at that week. We found one grumpy staff member to check us out at 9:30am, saying that she didn't open until 10am, but I told her we had to leave and couldn't wait until 10am. I am sure this hostel is better in the summer season when the pub is open and there are lots of tourists, but this is not the right time of year for this hostel.

This hostel fails on some of the basics. Too few bathrooms, no latches/locks on bathroom doors, no hooks to hang towels on. The dorms also lack any kind of hooks. The dorm I stayed in, room E, was adjacent to nightclub with loud music until 3am each night.

Just so so, You have a lot of options in CK, this one is not good option. CK is quit small, don't need care about location.

It is the most worst hostel I never been before. Very noise and not security. No lock for the WC and bathroom. Very dirty kitchen. We sent e-mail asked for the way to the hostel and got "no reply".

The ground floor is a night pub I can't fall asleep till 1.00 AM. When I checked -in, the smell was not comfortable..

Excellent location - The hostel is just 2 mins from the tourist information center. It is above a pub so it was a bit noisy at night. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and WC can be improved.

Travellers Hostel is located right in the centre of historical Unesco town Cesky Krumlov in two buildings from the 13th century. Cesky Krumlov is located in South Bohemia, around 200 km south of Prague, close to the Austrian border. Travellers hostel offers 102 beds in all kinds of rooms from dormitories with mostly 8 beds to private rooms and apartment with a beautifull view of the Krumlov castle. There is also a very popular bar with occasional live music and a restaurant with international cusine in the hostel. We offer internet, laundry service, book exchange and free linen. Breakfast is also available here and it is the cheapest one in the town.
